This isn't such a great photo - except for the way I got the photo. This is a Kingfisher. My favorite bird. I was looking for him in his habitat at the Bronx Zoo, and found him waaaay up high on a water pipe. I had to lean WAY over the rail and shoot blind straight up to get him. In the actual picture, the bird is tiny in the frame. I only scanned in the small area of the bird at 2400 dpi to get this result.
